My first day of agency life I was assigned as the Community Manager on the Power Rangers account and to be honest it was a bit MORPHENOMINAL!
I mean c’mon it’s the freaken’ Power Rangers!
My role included working with the Account Manager to monitor the content he created, responding to comments and actively engaging with over 1 million fans across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more.
As the account and agency grew, I was promoted to a strategic position within the company but still utilized my video production experience to create and edit short-form video content for Instagram. Yes, that’s my arm!
The experience of working as a Community Manager on the Power Rangers account was invaluable and a tremendous step in my professional progression. The frequency, level of detail to consistent brand voice and amount of comment moderation required made managing less active brand communities easy-peasy.
